Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center Names Theresa Noriega-Lum Board Chair and Craig Robinson Vice Chair

The former CFO of Matthews Asia and a Western Alliance Bank executive step into the board’s top two roles.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. / July 23, 2026 — Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center has named Theresa Noriega-Lum as Board Chair and Craig Robinson as Vice Chair. Noriega-Lum, former Chief Financial Officer of Matthews Asia, succeeds Alison Davis, who has chaired the board since 2020. Robinson is Head of Community Relations at Western Alliance Bank.

Mrs. Noriega-Lum has served on Renaissance’s board since 2024, most recently as Co-Chair, and has been a member of the Renaissance Women’s Leadership Council for 12 years. Before Matthews Asia, she held senior roles at BlackRock and Charles Schwab. As Chair, she will lead the board’s governance and financial oversight as Renaissance grows its programs for lower-income, emerging small business owners across the Bay Area.

“Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center has a remarkable legacy of empowering entrepreneurs and creating pathways to economic opportunity,” said Noriega-Lum.  “I am honored to serve as Board Chair and look forward to working with our dedicated board, leadership team, and community partners to expand our impact and help more small business owners achieve lasting economic success for themselves, their families, and their communities.”

Robinson, who has served on Renaissance’s board since 2023,  has spent his career directing financial resources to communities overlooked by traditional finance. He has previously served on the boards of Housing Trust Silicon Valley and Opportunity Fund, as well as President of the Silicon Valley Bank Foundation.

“Theresa and Craig each bring deep professional and nonprofit expertise, and a clear commitment to the communities we serve,” said Sharon Miller, CEO of Renaissance. “Theresa’s financial leadership has strengthened how we plan and grow. Craig has spent his career moving resources into communities that traditional finance overlooks. I’m delighted to have them leading our board together.”

Miller also recognized outgoing Chair Alison Davis, who joined the board in 2015. “Renaissance is stronger because of Alison. We are fortunate for her tenure as Chair, and delighted that she will remain on our Board of Directors,” she said.

Mrs. Noriega-Lum and Robinson step into their roles as Renaissance continues to deepen its work across the Bay Area, expand what its centers can offer, and build the kind of training and support that help lower-income small business owners achieve lasting economic success for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Your Website Is Talking — Are You Listening?

Your website is generating data every single day — but most small business owners never look at it. In two hours, you will go from guessing to knowing: why visitors leave your site before they contact you, whether your pages load fast enough to keep them around, and what Google already thinks about your site before a potential customer even clicks. You will leave with a simple diagnostic routine you can run on your own, every month, in under 30 minutes.
