The Family Child Care Fundamental Series, consists of 8 sessions. Classes are 1.5 hours and meet once a week.
The Family Child Care Fundamental Series is a comprehensive and flexible program, consisting of eight distinct workshops, providing essential guidance for those interested in starting or growing their family child care business. These workshops cover a wide range of crucial topics, from designing a unique child care program and crafting engaging activities and curriculum to creating a safe and nurturing environment. You’ll also learn how to effectively market your business, establish clear contracts and policies, communicate with families, manage your business finances, and prepare for tax obligations. Whether you’re new to the field or looking to enhance your existing child care business, this series offers the knowledge and tools you need for success.
This course will be taught by Yvelise A. Cabral, M.Ed., is an Early Childhood Educator, Consultant and Coach.
