Credit Foundations for Business Owners: How Personal Credit Impacts Business Credit
2-Part Workshop Series
This two-part workshop helps business owners understand how personal credit influences their ability to start, fund, and grow a business. Focused on education—not credit repair—this series provides clear, practical guidance so entrepreneurs can use credit strategically and confidently.
Part 1: Personal Credit Foundations
Learn what credit is, how credit profiles differ from scores, why personal credit is often required for business funding, and the key behaviors that strengthen or limit financial opportunities.
Part 2: Business Credit & Financial Readiness
Learn how business credit works, when and how to transition from personal to business credit, what lenders evaluate beyond scores, and how to properly separate and manage business finances.
Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of credit, how it impacts business growth, and the knowledge needed to make informed, sustainable financial decisions.
Optional 1-on-1 Credit Clarity Sessions may be available for individualized guidance.
