She sought support to overcome the challenges of being a woman and Latina business owner, the difficulties of finding funds to grow profits, plus the enormous impact of COVID-19.
Claudia first came to Renaissance in 2014 and enrolled in Start Smart, our 4-week business program. She then continued to the Business Prep program to focus on customers and operations, marketing, business projections, business credit, and a comprehensive business plan. Claudia has utilized Renaissance resources to help her rebrand and market Mr. Pickles in a way that would keep the original brand but highlight the new owners. Claudia has been approved through San Mateo Strong Fund to receive a $5,000 grant. She will continue to work at Renaissance to ensure that she can stay in business and thrive.
