ERIN PARSLEY DANCE

Erin Parsley
About the company

Erin is the owner and founder of Erin Parsley Dance. She teaches dance lessons to children and adults in private and group lessons. She also does choreography and performance art.

Challenge

Erin found Renaissance through a personal referral, and was looking for help with learning foundational business skills to grow her dance company.

Result

Erin has attended many Renaissance workshops, but the most valuable to her have been the legal workshops and accounting classes. Without these, she would not be able to run her business as smoothly and securely as she does now. Erin’s business had been increasing steadily, and she had reached the point where she was ready to hire a part time employee to help her manage the administrative side of her business. She also started to increase her prices to cover her costs, now that she was able to calculate her cost of goods sold. Since the coronavirus has limited her in-person business, Erin continues to offer online classes to new and current clients. She is also attending more classes with Renaissance to increase her marketing and sales skills for when her business is open again.
