DESCRIPTION:Do you have a food product you’d like to sell but aren’t sure where to start? Join this two-week workshop series designed for aspiring food entrepreneurs who want to take their products from the kitchen to the marketplace. Participants will learn the fundamentals of launching a food business\, including product development\, food safety considerations\, packaging\, labeling requirements\, pricing strategies\, and market readiness. The series will also explore sales channels\, licensing considerations\, and practical steps to help entrepreneurs successfully introduce their products to customers. Whether you are creating baked goods\, sauces\, snacks\, or other specialty foods\, this workshop will provide valuable guidance to help turn your food business idea into a market-ready product. \nFacilitator: Diego Calderon \n\nHuman-centered\, social-impact-driven instructional designer and community facilitator. With a vast background in program management supporting diverse communities\, Diego leads with empathy\, creating environments where people can feel like their most authentic and best selves.
