How To Build Your Website (WBC 10/12/22 – 11/9/22)

Duration: 2-hour classes, once a week for 4 weeks

Class meets once per week on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30. Oct 12, 19 and 26, and Nov 9.
Dreaming of creating a stunning website? You can learn how to create your own website, even with little or no experience! No coding required. Join Alex Berea in this 4-week workshop to learn the differences between the different sections a website should or shouldn’t have, select the best web building platform and hosting service, and connect your payment services, so you can bring your business to the world. In the fourth session, you will showcase the website you have created and learn what real-time analytics to focus on.
Class 1, Oct 12th: The best page for your business. Compare website building platforms and choose the best one for you.
Class 2, Oct 19th: The basic pages all sites should have. Best practices and examples + Connecting your payment method to your site.
Class 3, Oct 26th: Build your own page. In this hands-on session, you will learn the basic skills to build, all by yourself and with no coding skills required, the basic components of a winning website.
Class 4, Nov 9th: Test your site. After two weeks to prepare for your final presentation, you will learn the traffic measuring mumbo-jumbo and bring your page to get live advice.

There is a new way to register! You can now register using your client profile. By setting up a client profile, you will not have to fill out the same personal information for each workshop you register for, making it faster and easier in the long run!
a) If you already have a Client Portal Profile, click the Register button below.
- In the Client Portal, go to the Calendar tab (top left) and select How To Build Your Website (WBC 10/12/22 – 11/09/22), click enroll, answer the questions, and submit! You will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link.
b) If you don’t have a Client Portal profile, create one at this link. Make sure to use the same email address you have used in the past with Renaissance. You may change it later, but this allows our system to recognize you.
If you already have an intake form on file, you’ll see the Calendar tab in the top left.
If you do not, you will need to fill one out before you can see the Calendar tab. It may also ask you to update your information. The user interface isn’t perfect, so make sure to scroll up and keep clicking “Continue” or “Sign” in order to complete the forms. Once the Calendar tab is visible, you can register by going to your profile’s calendar tab and selecting How To Build Your Website (WBC 10/12/22 – 11/09/22), hit enroll, answer the questions and submit! You will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link.
