COVID EIDL Loan Best Practices (WBC)

The COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) is a federal small business loan program that supports small businesses’ recovery from the COVID-19 disaster’s economic impacts by providing accessible and borrower-friendly capital

The loan is originated directly from the SBA and must be repaid. COVID-EIDL is a low-interest, fixed-rate, long-term loan to help overcome the effects of the pandemic by providing working capital to meet operating expenses. Today we will discuss “best practices” to process your application timely.

Maria Pineda. District Office Technical Representative (DOTR)

15+ years in civil service (SBA, SSA, US Treasury, USAID) and consumer loan origination/underwriting/sales/marketing. Fully bilingual (English/Spanish). Major duties at the SBA San Francisco District Office include outreach to small businesses to discuss SBA programs and services, including access to capital, federal contracting, and counseling.
