This 10- week course provides an overview of target market analysis, fundamental business operations, and basic business finance principles. You will develop foundational business skills and complete a basic business plan, outlining your business goals and strategies to achieve them.
This course will be taught by Beth Houtrow. She has over 15 years of experience supporting nonprofits, tech companies, and small businesses from launch to scale. Her expertise is in designing systems to create process efficiencies. Or more simply – she’s an expert at getting businesses organized and flowing smoothly. Whether you are just getting started or have been in business for years, she can help you identify and implement low-cost software solutions to make your business more efficient. Her primary area of focus is CRM platforms (customer databases), but she is also experienced in implementing software for marketing, accounting, people management, project management, and more. In coordination with system creation, Beth helps clients design metrics to measure the effectiveness of their business operations and strategies.
