Join us for this 10-Week Virtual Business Planning Class! Learn business basics, develop networks, and confidently build your business plan. This class will guide you in creating a practical and effective business plan by providing an overview of marketing strategies, business operations, and financial projections. A comprehensive business plan is a critical management tool for accessing capital for business launch and growth. Completing this course will help build the strong foundation required to embark on the exciting entrepreneurship journey. This class will be highly interactive and engaging.

Applicants will be accepted into this course on a rolling basis. Enrollment will be capped at 20 students, so apply early! Click the “register here” button at the bottom of this page to start the application.

If accepted into the course, you will receive an email from Renaissance staff with follow-up questions, including client intake paperwork if necessary. After completing the intake, you’ll be provided the Zoom link to participate in class.

Tuition, Scholarships, and Payment Plans

Tuition for this 10-week course is $500.

Sliding scale scholarships of 25% – 100% are available based on household size, income level, and personal circumstances. Scholarships and payment plans are available to anyone who requests them. We do not turn anyone away for lack of ability to pay. By completing the application and indicating you need a scholarship/payment plan, you automatically apply to get one.

Instructor: Beth Houtrow

Beth has 15+ years of experience supporting nonprofits, tech companies, and small businesses from inception to scale. She is now focused on helping the new wave of small business owners tackle the reality of operating a business. Passion for your product is a great starting point, but Beth helps you develop the skills and know-how to run a successful business. In addition to her work as a business coach, she is also the founder of Climb – The Small Business Book, a community of founders working together to learn and grow their businesses.
