Hiring and Retaining Employees (WBC)

Learn recruitment best practices around sourcing, interviewing, and qualifying applicants with a focus on limiting implicit bias and predicting job performance. We will learn and share ways to apply a racial justice lens to your recruitment efforts. And since retaining the talent you worked hard to recruit is ideal, we’ll go over free and low-cost ways that help your staff feel cared for and trusted.

Sarah Noyes

For 15+ years, Sarah has been supporting small businesses, social enterprises, and nonprofits with recruitment — with the goal of empowering leaders to also be expert hiring managers. Her passion for entrepreneurism is supported by her MA in Organization Development (CIIS) as well certifications in change management (Prosci), career coaching (Baraka Institute), and project management (UCBerkeley).
