Drug Uses
Anafranil is indicated for treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It may also be used for other situations as recommended by your physician.
How Taken
Use Anafranil as pre-scripted by your physician. To avoid stomach upset take Anafranil with food intake. It can take two - three weeks before you notice the effect of Anafranil. Continue taking Anafranil even if you feel better.
Additional Information
Anafranil may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or blurred vision. These effects can worsen if Anafranil is taken with alcohol or certain other drugs. Use Anafranil with caution. Do not drive or perform other possibly dangerous tasks until you know how you react to this medication. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your physician. Anafranil should be used only by the patient for whom it has been recommended. Do not take less or more or take it more often than ordered by your doctor.
